<ol>
<li>L&#8217;intégration progressive des différents <strong>réseaux sociaux</strong> (C&#8217;est pas pour rien que le DHS, le FBI ou encore Hatzav surveillent de près ce type d&#8217;espaces)</li>
<li><strong>ADAWAT</strong> : Any Device, Any Where, Any Time? La mobilité devient un enjeu clef.</li>
<li><strong>Le temps réel</strong>, notamment par ces temps de crise et le poids prépondérant de l&#8217;image dans nos sociétés modernes.</li>
<li><strong>Le multilinguisme</strong> avec la gestion des langues exotiques ou encore les nouveaux langages type SMS, orthographe dérivée pour contourner la censure, etc.</li>

</ol>
<p>Il s&#8217;agit des nouvelles fonctions qui sont pour certains éditeurs déjà présentes, et qui feront partie intégrante, à mon sens, de la nouvelle offre pour les 2 années à venir. La préface est signée par <a href="caddereputation.over-blog.com/" target="_blank">Camille Alloing</a>, qui apporte une remise en perspective intéressante à ce propos.</p>

A travers une infographie dynamique, de 2012 jusqu&#8217;à 2040 et concernant une dizaine de domaines d&#8217;activités, il a recensé plus d&#8217;une centaine de technologies du futur. Il s&#8217;agit de tendances émergentes tout comme des tendances qui se confirment, avec une précision quant à son degré d&#8217;impact sur le consommateur final et son importance relative sur le marché. Une vraie mise en valeur de la veille technologique et de la prospective à travers la visualisation.</p>
<p>Ainsi, la 5G est prévue pour 2020, les technologies de cyber-warfare (cyber-guerre) sont quasiment déjà là, le tourisme spatial sera monnaie courante en 2020, alors que l&#8217;optogénétique se développera vers 2030.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Facebook dispose depuis un bon moment d&#8217;une des plus grandes bases de renseignement personnalisé au monde. En plus, c&#8217;est une base fréquemment mise à jour, dynamique et évolutive puisqu&#8217;elle vit au rythme de ses utilisateurs. Avec quelques 800 millions d&#8217;inscrits, les conversations autour de marques, de produits et de personnalités ont encore un bel avenir.</p>
<p>Si des éditeurs de veille se sont déjà emparé de ce créneau en intégrant les flux de ce réseau social dans leurs offres, avec plus ou moins de pertinence et de difficultés (sémantique, technique, fonctionnelle&#8230;), il me semble que Facebook peut jouer un rôle de challenger, même indirectement.</p>
<p>En effet, il y a quelques jours, et à l&#8217;occasion des présidentielles américaines, Facebook a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/notes/us-politics-on-facebook/politico-facebook-team-up-to-measure-gop-candidate-buzz/10150461091205882">annoncé</a> sur son blog, le lancement d&#8217;une opération de veille sur le buzz lié aux candidats, avec en prime une analyse des sentiments. Cerise sur le gâteau, Facebook décrit de manière assez claire la démarche :</p>
<blockquote><p>Facebook will compile mentions of the candidates in U.S. users’ posts and comments as well as assess <strong>positive and negative</strong> sentiments expressed about them. Facebook’s data team will use <strong>automated software tools</strong> frequently used by researchers to infer sentiment from text.</p></blockquote>
<p>Avec à l&#8217;appui une capture visualisant le prototype et le résultat :</p>

<p>Donc Facebook dispose des technologies et des ressources nécessaires pour conduire ce type d&#8217;opérations. Il y a du calcul d&#8217;occurrence pour la volumétrie des citations des candidats, des équipes de chercheurs et de linguistes pour l&#8217;étude des tonalités, avec une automatisation (plus ou moins exhaustive) du processus. Quant à l&#8217;analyse à proprement parler, Facebook s&#8217;allie avec <a href="http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0112/71345.html">Politico</a> pour la restitution finale des résultats.</p>
<p>A travers ces premiers éléments, il est évident que des opportunités de mobilisation de technologies de surveillance et d&#8217;analyse des conversations soient bien présentes, et certainement se développeront de plus en plus. Les élections sont un premier exemple, mais il n&#8217;est pas exclu que des évènements commerciaux, sportifs, internationaux de grande envergure soient aussi à l&#8217;étude. A titre d&#8217;exemple, je pense au SuperBowl, à la coupe du monde de football, à des sommets internationaux comme Davos, voire même des catastrophes naturelles comme le dernier séisme japonais.</p>
<p>Si Facebook ne se positionne pas forcément comme un éditeur de veille, il est envisageable qu&#8217;il étudie des pistes de partenariats et de rapprochement avec d&#8217;autres structures, soit pour une meilleure valorisation des contenus et des insights, soit par la vente des données agrégées, ou la mise à disposition de tableaux de bord de suivi pour les marques, etc&#8230;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Les membres des comités scientifique et organisateur du Colloque Spécialisé en Sciences de l’Information (COSSI) ont le plaisir de lancer l’invitation aux chercheurs et aux praticiens des sciences de l’information et de la communication (SIC) à participer à la quatrième édition de l’événement qui se tiendra, sous la thématique « Information, incertitudes, intelligences », les 19-20 juin 2012 à l’Université de Poitiers, France. Ce colloque international avec diffusion des travaux sous forme d’actes et dont les travaux se déroulent en français, est ouvert à toute la communauté spécialisée du domaine des SIC.</p>
<p>Les communications peuvent prendre le cheminement de réflexions épistémologiques, conceptuelles, théoriques et de cas pratiques s’inscrivant dans les champs précisés ci-dessous:</p>
<p><strong>A. L’intelligence de l’acte de communication</strong> : réalités et pertinence de la communication en réseau ; intégration de l’incertitude et la turbulence dans le processus de communication…</p>
<p><strong>B. L’intelligence du document numérique</strong> : problématiques actuelles en records management – supports classiques versus supports multimédias, cycle du document, normes et pratiques, outils, gestion de patrimoine numérique, protection de la vie privée face au chaos de la perte de connaissances…</p>
<p><strong>C. L’intelligence de l’aide à la décision en incertitude</strong> : approches de veille stratégique et intelligence compétitive – méthodologie, cycle de l’information, fonctions et services, management, formation et compétences, culture de l’information, prospective, tendances …</p>
<p><strong>D. L’intelligence du capital organisationnel</strong> : démarches de knowledge management – propriété intellectuelle et industrielle, transmission de savoir, fracture numérique et développement économique, l’information comme vecteur d’innovation…</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Une étude fin 2011 commandité par Dell et menée par Forrester Consulting a fait l&#8217;objet d&#8217;une infographie remarquable. Il s&#8217;agit de comprendre comment les marques américaines (200 entreprises) réagissent et prévoient leur activité de veille sur les médias sociaux.</p>
<p>Les résultats clefs à mon avis sont les suivants :</p>
<ul>
<li>50% des marques considèrent qu&#8217;une fonction &laquo;&nbsp;social media&nbsp;&raquo; est importante mais non prioritaire et ne fait pas partie du coeur de métier.</li>
<li>Seulement 6% des marques mènent des activités de veille et engagent des actions sur les médias sociaux.</li>
<li>Le principal frein réside dans l&#8217;absence de budget consacré à l&#8217;activité de veille.</li>
<li>58% des marques pensent que la veille sert à influencer la perception des internautes clients.</li>
</ul>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Après Google et son suivi de l&#8217;évolution de la grippe dans le <a href="http://www.google.org/flutrends/" target="_blank">monde</a>, c&#8217;est au tour de Twitter de jouer son rôle de sauveur. Dans une <a href="http://www.ajtmh.org/content/86/1/39.full" target="_blank">étude</a> récente publiée dans la revue <em>American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene</em>, des chercheurs sont arrivés à conclure que le suivi de l&#8217;épidémie du Choléra sur Twitter n&#8217;est pas seulement plus rapide, mais est surtout <strong>aussi fiable que via les voies plus traditionnelles</strong>.</p>
<p>L&#8217;avantage de ce suivi de la propagation via Twitter, et contrairement aux rapports médicaux des hôpitaux, c&#8217;est qu&#8217;il se fait en temps quasi réel avec une géolocalisation très fine et précise. Les données en question ont été collectées vie le service <a href="http://healthmap.org/fr/" target="_blank">HealthMap</a>.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tableau Software, éditeur de plateforme de traitement de données, visualisation et BI a publié en décembre dernier, un livre blanc recensant <a href="http://www.tableausoftware.com/sites/default/files/blog/top10-2012-bi-trends-tableausoftware.pdf">10 tendances à suivre en 2012 en matière de Business Intelligence</a>. (PDF)</p>
<p>Outre le format original de cette production, le contenu me semble justement mesuré et donne une idée sur ce que pourrait être le futur pour les plateformes de veille. Les tendances en question sont les suivantes :</p>
<ol>
<li>Les données volumineuses en croissance exponentielle (<strong>Big Data</strong>), et ce n&#8217;est pas avec les réseaux sociaux que ça va s&#8217;arrêter.</li>
<li>La BI sur étagère et sur mesure (<strong>Self-Reliance / Self Service</strong>)</li>
<li><strong>Une démocratisation des &laquo;&nbsp;Enterprise Software&nbsp;&raquo;</strong> surtout avec le développement des RSE (Réseaux Sociaux d&#8217;Entreprise) et autres plateformes sociales</li>
<li>La <strong>mobilité</strong> avec une transposition sur les différents terminaux mobiles</li>
<li>La convergence vers le <strong>Social BI</strong> notamment avec les concentrations dans le secteur (Salesforce, SAP&#8230;)</li>
<li>Plus de <strong>Cloud</strong> pour tous</li>
<li>Plus de <strong>compétences analytiques</strong> pour les collaborateurs, et donc un nouveau casse-tête pour les RH</li>
<li>Une <strong>approche conjointe métier/IT</strong> pour la gestion des projets BI</li>
<li>Encore plus de <strong>visualisation interactive des données</strong>, donc les dashboard ont le vent en poupe</li>
<li>D&#8217;un point de vue purement technique, <a href="http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hadoop">Hadoop</a> connaîtra certainement un essor les prochaines années.</li>
</ol>

<p>Je signale, pour clarifier la situation, qu&#8217;aucun moyen illégal n&#8217;a été mis en oeuvre pour accéder à ce contenu, contrairement à ce que certains peuvent penser. Il s&#8217;agit bien, de plusieurs adresses web renvoyant vers ces portails, partagées par un utilisateur sur un célèbre site de partage de favoris. Ces adresses sont accessibles au public, sans aucune compétence informatique particulière. Une simple requête sur le mot &laquo;&nbsp;veille&nbsp;&raquo; permet de remonter ces résultats. <del>A l&#8217;instant où j&#8217;écris ces lignes, ces adresses sont encore consultables sur le site de partage</del>.</p>
